I'm Ellie Diop, a mom of 4 adorable kids and an entrepreneur. I was laid off from my 6-figure corporate job and used my $1200 stimulus check during the Covid-19 pandemic to start a multi-million dollar business in 1 short year.
But there’s more to my story.
I was born in Los Angeles to an immigrant father from Senegal. I grew up in Inglewood, California, and was blessed to also live in Dakar, Senegal for a few years.
At 9, I received an academic scholarship to attend a private school in Pasadena. But unlike most of my classmates, I did not come from a well-off family and had a very different lifestyle than them.
I remember when one of my friends told me that her dad owned a law firm and earned $250 an hour. That’s when I realized the power of entrepreneurship and ownership.
Since then, I have been determined to figure out how to bridge the wealth gap for myself and my family.
I am a passionate entrepreneur and speaker dedicated to helping women start & scale their businesses through my strategic coaching and educational business courses. I have helped thousands of women start businesses, build their business credit and scale up using my proven digital marketing strategies and mindset coaching.
Some people know me as Ellie Talks Money online, where I’ve built a following of over 300k on all social platforms. I have dedicated the last year to creating consistent content for my audience. That consistency has allowed me to grow at an exponential rate.
I am a full-time mommy and businesswoman on a mission to help more women tap into their inner power to become free by designing and living a life they love.
